THE JOURNEY

In early 2018, Devin "DME" Elien took an interest in the idea of podcasting and started The Urban Product with his college classmate. The show was strictly focused on music and hip hop culture. After a few months of publishing weekly episodes, The Urban Product generated a buzz. Episodes were recorded using Bridgewater State University's radio station. After one season,  Darnell "Rich" Richardson joined the show as a permanent cast member. DME & Rich created a new dynamic by being close, opinionated friends. After two years of creating memorable audio content, The Urban Product found a new home. DME & Rich moved the podcast from their apartment to Medford Community Media. Shortly after, Imani Gedeus was added to the show and the show became whole. Imani helped to extend the show's range and her co-host's capabilities. The Urban Product is now a media company that specializes in music, podcasting and advertising! Each episode is another adventure from DME, Imani, and Rich meant to be relatable to the culture. The journey continues...
